IBM goes postal on spammers

Had to mention this one.  It is a good thing to be proactive in life.

IBM has developed a new weapon in the holy war on spam: e-mail filtering technology that analyzes domain identity and then backtrack-attacks the e-mail servers responsible for sending unwanted messages:

We have been using e-mail filtering for some time, but no matter how many services are out there protecting the InBox, Rolex watch offers and Girls Gone Wild in Nepal still gets through.  Make the spammers pay more for bandwidth, why not?

How about an IIS tool that recognized unauthorized behavior/poking around and redirected the hacker to a honey pot server/infinite loop death trap?

Excellent.
